We had these guys play at our wedding, and it was absolutely epic! The whole vibe of the evening was exactly what we wanted with everyone dancing and singing along. The band was super easy to deal with and organised, and I was so stoked to have our first dance song played live. Cannot recommend them enough!

I could write an essay about Jon but I’ll try to keep it short and sweet!Jon was our celebrant, MC, DJ and acoustic music artist at our wedding on 02/02/2024. He told our story so beautifully at the ceremony, kept the day flowing seamlessly with his MC skills and played banger after banger on the decks - the dance floor was PUMPING!!! So many of our guests came up to us talking about how fantastic he was.If you are after a man of many talents, who is also incredibly genuine, humble, funny and an all around awesome guy to be a part of your special day, look no further than Jon Pickford. Where to begin, Jon is amazing at what he does. If you're looking for entertainment for your wedding or special occasion, look no further - Jon is your guy! We were lucky enough to have Jon as our musician and DJ on our wedding day, and he was beyond fantastic!He played our ceremony songs live, which made them even more special and memorable. He also provided entertainment for our guests during our canape hour, playing an acoustic set, which our guests absolutely LOVED.He was our DJ for our reception and I don't have the words to explain how good he was. He read the room so well, knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone on the dance floor while incorporating our song choices. Our guests absolutely loved the dancefloor, as did we, and I've never seen so many people up dancing that wouldn't normally - that's a credit to Jon.Aside from Jon's obvious musical talent, he was just so great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, patient as we took far too long to make our music choices, so helpful with the sound system, and adaptable on the day as we got caught up in the excitement of it all and decided to do an impromptu "entrance" to our reception, helping us to pick a brilliant tune to make our entrance.Jon - thank you so much! You made the process so easy for us as well as fun! We enjoyed filling out the questionnaires you sent us and you provided us with some incredibly helpful information for writing our own vows. And it didn't stop there! You're a man of many talents, and our guests couldn't believe it when our celebrant started singing and playing guitar during the canapes! Of course we only got to hear a couple of songs before we were whisked away for photos, but you sounded amazing and we're so happy we asked you to do that.Our guests were further amazed when our celebrant turned singer entertained us further by going into party mode and DJing into the night! I had so many people comment on your talents and how surprised they were with everything you did. There was even a rumour going around that you were driving the bus home at the end of the night!! Jon is an absolute legend and I can’t recommend him enough. Jon was our celebrant, Musician/DJ and our MC! There’s nothing he can’t do. We originally had a family member as our MC but with the border restrictions he couldn’t make it so Jon offered and saved us with that!He made us feel so comfortable through the ceremony and had us in fits of laughter through the ceremony and reception. It was so great having one person who can do so many things throughout the wedding as it was so easy just dealing with the person and not multiple vendors.From the first time we met Jon, we knew instantly we want him to be our celebrant as we just felt like we had known him for ages. Jon was an absolutely amazing celebrant and we can't recommend him enough! From the beginning, when we met Jon for the first time, we clicked instantly. Jon is so sincere and genuine. We already new Jon through school however, his work as both a celebrant and musician at our wedding far surpassed our expectations. Jon has been extremely friendly, professional, and caring through the whole process of our civil union. We wanted something simple and stress-free, and he helped us get exactly what we wanted. When we had questions, he checked with the appropriate organisations and always gave us a prompt reply. He was really easy to talk to too. Jon literally made our day and we can't recommend him enough!
From the first few messages to the couple of in person catch ups, right through to our wedding day; Jon was super personable, flexible, and took charge.
We tossed him a couple of curve balls such as organising an ice breaker, he took the idea and ran with it and the bridal bingo game that he put together has been acclaimed to be one of the many highlights of the day.
He provided some super simple, but handy excel sheets for us to keep track of our timeline, assist with writing our vows, and getting our love story written down which he then used to formulate a perfect ceremony for us! He also actively shared this and worked with all of our other vendors to ensure we were all on the same page.
We were married on a yacht so the total number on board was rather limited, but Jon helped immensely with this by wearing multiple hats! He is not just a great celebrant, but also a great musician, DJ, host, and even a bit of a comedian with some great banter! Our wedding day had a couple last minute changes, but Jon was able to help rejig things to make it all flow perfectly for us! He was able to relocate his equipment quickly several times while dodging the rain onboard a moving yacht.
To anyone looking for a fun, down to earth, and very talented celebrant/musician at a very reasonable price, Jon Pickford is your man!
